Eddie found the going tough on his debut in 2008. Being paired with Robert and Gary probably didn't help and he was a bit bemused by some of the characters he met at the Lawle Guby Open.

He threw his club away after 50% of his tee shots and was handicapped by a tear in the seat of his trousers during the last five holes of his debut.

The highlight of his debut round was the 16th hole. He produced a ball from his bag, stating that it was his lucky ball. He then sliced it far into the rough to general amusement, but then chipped onto the green and sank his putt for par.

Trivia: Eddie is a big fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger, enjoys dressing-up and plays badminton with Robert.
