Martyn is another competitor with roots at Experian, although unlike all the others he still works there. However, he was far too sensible to get up at 6.30am to play golf with Robert, Lance and Jimmy D and is therefore not a founder member of the event.

Martyn didn't make his debut until 2006 when, fed-up of being beaten by Robert at tennis, he decided to teach him a lesson at golf.

His high point so far has being shooting a gross 66 in 2007, which saw him finish third behind two people who scored gross 90 and 79. It is not known if this was the reason for his non-appearance in 2008.

Trivia: Martyn has also turned out for Robert's badminton team and run the Robin Hood Marathon a number of times, finishing 660th in the Full Marathon in 2008 in a time of 4h 15m 52s.
